True leaders
willingly follow.
willingly follow.
Best leading
tunes in, listens, cares, inspires,
tunes in, listens, cares, inspires,
and then
moves upward.
moves upward.
Maybe the
loneliest person is the one
loneliest person is the one
who could
never learn to share,
never learn to share,
so clamored
instead to take control.
instead to take control.
If well
trained unworthiness kneels
trained unworthiness kneels
at the feet
of the selfish controller, oppression results.
of the selfish controller, oppression results.
There on top
of their own oppression,
of their own oppression,
ever pushing
downward,
downward,
the
controller has no chance to rise.
controller has no chance to rise.
No one comes
to them on the tennis court of life,
to them on the tennis court of life,
to receive
their perfect deadly serve.
their perfect deadly serve.
The domineer
stands waiting ball in hand in,
stands waiting ball in hand in,
completely in
control, and completely alone.
control, and completely alone.
The upward
path emerges from courageous sharing
path emerges from courageous sharing
and the ever
liberating ability to trust.
liberating ability to trust.
A true and
strong light shines from each person
strong light shines from each person
and standing
side by side these lights
side by side these lights
make bright
the path for everyone
the path for everyone
to travel
onward, and upward
onward, and upward
together.
